Comfort begins here.

Counseling oriented to you and what you need to help you flourish.

Kind and Compassionate Counseling

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Why chose me for counseling?

I understand that often teens and adults have to navigate difficult seasons and want to better understand themselves and their relationships. I have experience working with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, attachment and relationship struggles, mother wounds, life transitions, parenting challenges, and eating disorders.

I believe counseling should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, understood without judgment, and supported as you work toward meaningful change. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through what you’re facing right now, but to help you understand the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck so that you can begin to flourish.

In our work together, I bring compassion, empathy, curiosity, and a little bit of humor (when appropriate). I work hard to create a comfortable environment where you can be yourself and where we can work together rather than me simply telling you what to do. I want our time together to be both meaningful and practical, giving you tools and insight that you can carry with you outside of the counseling room.

My hope is that through our work together, you will develop a deeper understanding of yourself, know how to work to have healthier relationships, gain greater confidence in who you are, and the uncover the ability to live your life more fully.

For those who desire it, I also welcome the opportunity to incorporate a biblical perspective into counseling. I believe faith can be an important part of the healing process, and I am happy to integrate Scripture and Christian principles into our work when that aligns with your values and goals.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come to counseling. You just have to be willing to take the first step (and talk a little about it).
